We are producing two basic "Premium" AKM type receivers. They are made as  authentic reproductions of current European patterns. The part #'s are;

NDS-1     Caliber 7.62x39 for AKM type kits. Based on the Hungarian SA-85 pattern.

NDS-2    Caliber 5.45x39 for AK74 type kits. Based on the Bulgarian SLR-105 pattern.

Many of our other receivers are based off these basic platforms

It does not have some of the finer details of our premium AKM and AK74 receivers, but is made to the same high standards. Like the rest of our products it is FULLY heat treated 4130 to 40 on the Rockwell "C" scale.

Some of the features it DOES NOT HAVE are:

We don't recommend the use of the Tapco G2 "single hook" trigger in the NDS-3.

There have been reports of malfunctions when used in this receiver. This only applies to the NDS-3 "economy" receiver

Model NDS-65 Hungarian AMD 65 Folding Stock Receiver.

Based off the "Premium" NDS-1 shell, this one has all the enhanced features of that model with the back end cut for the AMD-65 rear block.

A dedicated receiver set up with a caliber specific 5.56x45 ejector rail.
